The Next Generation
of Hospitality
My name is Mohammad Husain, and I proudly represent the third generation of a family whose journey in hospitality began more than five decades ago.
Growing up inside restaurants, I learned from an early age that hospitality is not simply about serving food. It is about creating experiences, building relationships, and earning trust. The values of discipline, hard work, consistency, and guest satisfaction were passed down to me through generations of my family and continue to guide me every day.
To strengthen this foundation, I pursued professional education in hospitality and culinary arts. My journey began at Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal, where I studied Hospitality and Hotel Administration. During this period, I developed a deeper understanding of hotel operations, food production, restaurant management, and guest service.
My passion for culinary arts led me to represent my university at a national-level culinary competition, where I was honored with a Gold Medal for my culinary skills.
This achievement became an important milestone and reinforced my belief that traditional knowledge and modern techniques can work together to create excellence.
Driven by a desire to learn from the best hospitality systems in the world, I continued my education in the United Kingdom. I completed my MSc in International Hotel Management from the University of Surrey and later pursued advanced studies in Culinary Arts at University College Birmingham.
Alongside my education, I gained practical experience within the hospitality industry in England, working in both front-of-house and professional kitchen environments. These experiences allowed me to understand international hospitality standards, team leadership, operational efficiency, customer expectations, and modern culinary practices.
Beyond restaurant operations, I have also been actively involved in hospitality education and knowledge sharing.
At Lazeez Hakeem, my goal is to help build a hospitality ecosystem that preserves our heritage while embracing modern systems, global standards, and continuous learning. Every guest, every student, and every team member is an important part of that journey.
As I continue to learn, grow, and evolve, I remain committed to carrying forward the values established by previous generations while helping shape the future of hospitality for the generations to come.
