It is dedicated to our business partners, whose confidence and collaboration have contributed to the growth and continuity of this shared journey.
It is dedicated to every member of the Lazeez Hakeem® family, who bears the privilege and responsibility of preserving this legacy with honour, wisdom, and humility.
Above all, this Constitution is dedicated to every present and future Custodian who shall inherit this Institution as an Amanat—to protect its Trust, preserve its Identity, strengthen its Legacy, and faithfully pass it to the next generation in a better condition than it was received.
May this Constitution always remind every generation that institutions are not sustained by buildings, wealth, or reputation alone. They endure through character, responsibility, integrity, sincere service, and an unwavering commitment to the values upon which they were founded.

This Constitution is dedicated to all who built this Institution with honesty, sustained it with trust, strengthened it through service, and shall preserve it with wisdom for generations yet to come.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
With gratitude to Almighty Allah and deep respect for the vision of our Founder, Late Hakeemuddin Sahab, I humbly present this Founding Constitution of Lazeez Hakeem®.
For more than five decades, this Institution has grown through the confidence of its customers, the dedication of its employees, the support of its business partners, and the commitment of our family. This Constitution is written to preserve that confidence for generations yet to come.
This document is not created to preserve authority, wealth, or personal influence. It is created to preserve Trust.
Every generation inherits the name of Lazeez Hakeem® not as a privilege, but as an Amanat. Every Custodian is entrusted with the responsibility of protecting the Institution, strengthening its values, and leaving it stronger than it was received.
The principles contained within this Constitution shall guide every decision made in the name of Lazeez Hakeem®. While markets, technology, and circumstances will continue to evolve, the Institution shall remain unwavering in its commitment to Trust, Hospitality, Quality, Integrity, Human Dignity, Excellence, and Responsibility.
No individual, including the Founder, any Custodian, or any future leader, shall ever consider themselves greater than the values this Constitution exists to protect. Leadership is a responsibility entrusted by Allah and by those who place their trust in this Institution.
I acknowledge that no Constitution can foresee every challenge that future generations may encounter. Therefore, those entrusted with this Institution may improve this Constitution with wisdom and responsibility, provided that every amendment strengthens the Trust, character, and long-term purpose of Lazeez Hakeem®.
With humility and sincerity, I entrust this Constitution to every present and future Custodian.
May Almighty Allah accept this humble effort, forgive its shortcomings, and grant every generation the wisdom, sincerity, and courage to uphold these principles with honour. Aameen.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
We, the Custodians of Lazeez Hakeem®, with gratitude to Almighty Allah, honour the vision of our Founder, respect the trust of our customers, value the dedication of our employees, appreciate the confidence of our business partners, and accept our responsibility towards future generations.
We recognise that enduring institutions are built not merely through commercial success, but through unwavering Trust, genuine Hospitality, uncompromising Quality, ethical Leadership, responsible Governance, and sincere Service to society.
We acknowledge that every generation inherits this Institution as an Amanat—to preserve its identity, strengthen its character, protect its reputation, and faithfully pass it to the next generation with greater honour than it received.
We affirm that the true strength of Lazeez Hakeem® lies not in the number of its establishments, but in the confidence it earns, the promises it fulfils, and the values it refuses to compromise.
Therefore, we hereby adopt this Founding Constitution as the supreme guiding document of Lazeez Hakeem®, so that every decision, every relationship, every policy, and every generation shall remain faithful to the principles upon which this Institution was founded.

Article 1 — The Institution
Section 1 — Establishment
Lazeez Hakeem® is hereby recognised as a permanent family-led institution established in the year 1971.
It exists to preserve Trust, deliver exceptional Hospitality, uphold uncompromising Quality, conduct itself with Integrity, respect Human Dignity, pursue Excellence, and fulfil its Responsibility towards society and future generations.
The Institution shall continue beyond the lifetime of any individual, and its existence shall not depend upon any one person, generation, or position.
Section 2 — Constitutional Identity
Lazeez Hakeem® derives its identity from the confidence it has earned through decades of honest service.
Its true character shall never be measured by the number of its establishments, financial success, or commercial influence, but by the Trust it preserves, the promises it fulfils, and the values it faithfully upholds.
Section 3 — Nature of the Institution
Lazeez Hakeem® is more than a commercial enterprise. It is a heritage institution founded upon enduring principles and sustained through responsible custodianship.
Every activity undertaken in its name shall reflect its constitutional values and strengthen its long-term reputation.
Section 4 — Institutional Continuity
The Institution shall remain constant in its character while adapting responsibly to changing times.
Innovation, growth, and expansion are encouraged, provided they strengthen the Institution without compromising its constitutional identity.
Section 5 — Constitutional Responsibility
Every individual acting under the name of Lazeez Hakeem® shall recognise that they represent an Institution built through generations of trust and sincere service.
Accordingly, every decision and every action shall honour the dignity, reputation, and constitutional character of the Institution.
Constitutional Principle No. 1
An Institution is remembered not for what it owns, but for what it stands for.
Article 2 — Name, Heritage & Identity
Section 1 — Constitutional Name
The constitutional name of the Institution shall be Lazeez Hakeem®. Its name shall represent the heritage, reputation, goodwill, and constitutional identity established since 1971.
Section 2 — Heritage
The Institution acknowledges its origin in the vision and sincere efforts of its Founder. That heritage shall be preserved with gratitude, strengthened through responsible leadership, and passed to future generations with honour.
Section 3 — Identity
The identity of Lazeez Hakeem® shall be defined by:
- Trust before Profit.
- Hospitality before Transaction.
- Quality before Convenience.
- Integrity before Influence.
- Responsibility before Authority.
- Legacy before Personal Interest.
These principles shall remain the permanent identity of the Institution.
Section 4 — Protection of Identity
Every Custodian, Leader, Employee, and Business Partner has a continuing duty to protect the name, reputation, goodwill, and public confidence associated with Lazeez Hakeem®.
No person shall knowingly engage in conduct that diminishes its constitutional identity.
Section 5 — Legacy
The legacy of Lazeez Hakeem® belongs equally to past, present, and future generations. Each generation receives this legacy as an Amanat and shall preserve, strengthen, and faithfully transfer it to those who follow.

Section 1 — Constitutional Purpose
The primary purpose of Lazeez Hakeem® is to serve people with honesty, hospitality, quality, and respect while preserving the Trust placed in the Institution.
Commercial success shall support this purpose but shall never replace it.
Section 2 — Service
The Institution exists to create meaningful experiences through sincere hospitality, exceptional food, professional excellence, and ethical conduct.
Every guest shall be treated with dignity and every relationship shall be built upon mutual respect.
Section 3 — Preservation of Trust

The enduring vision of Lazeez Hakeem® shall be: To be known as one of the most trusted restaurant brands in the world.
This vision shall guide every generation, every leader, every employee, and every business partner entrusted with the responsibility of serving under the name of Lazeez Hakeem®.
Section 2 — Meaning of the Vision
The Institution recognises that true recognition is earned through character rather than publicity, through consistency rather than popularity, and through trust rather than size.
Accordingly, the vision of Lazeez Hakeem® shall not be measured merely by expansion, financial success, or market presence, but by the confidence it earns and the respect it commands wherever it serves.

The Institution shall pursue its vision by:

Part IV — Constitutional Values
Article 7 — Trust
Trust shall remain the highest constitutional value of Lazeez Hakeem®.
Every relationship established by the Institution shall be founded upon honesty, consistency, transparency, and the faithful fulfilment of every promise.
Trust is not granted by authority, nor purchased through success. It is earned through character and protected through responsible conduct.
Whenever a conflict arises between immediate advantage and long-term trust, the Institution shall always preserve Trust.
Every generation shall inherit this Trust as an Amanat and pass it forward with greater honour than it received.
Constitutional Principle
Trust is our greatest asset. Every generation shall strengthen that Trust and pass it to the next generation with greater honour than it received.
Article 8 — Hospitality
Hospitality is the heart of Lazeez Hakeem®.
Every guest shall be welcomed with respect, served with sincerity, and remembered with gratitude.
Hospitality extends beyond food and service. It reflects the Institution's character, compassion, and commitment to making every person feel valued.
Growth, technology, or commercial success shall never replace genuine human warmth.
Constitutional Principle
Hospitality begins with respect, is expressed through sincere service, and is remembered through the dignity with which every guest is treated.
Article 9 — Quality
Quality is the Institution's promise made visible.
Every product, service, process, and experience delivered under the name of Lazeez Hakeem® shall reflect excellence, consistency, and care.
Quality shall never be knowingly compromised for convenience, speed, or temporary financial gain. Continuous improvement shall remain a permanent constitutional commitment.

Article 10 — Integrity
Integrity shall guide every decision made in the name of Lazeez Hakeem®.
The Institution shall conduct its affairs honestly, fairly, transparently, and lawfully.
Every Custodian, Leader, Employee, and Business Partner shall act with moral courage, accepting responsibility for both success and failure.
Integrity protects reputation long before reputation protects the Institution.

Article 11 — Human Dignity
Every individual associated with Lazeez Hakeem® shall be treated with dignity, fairness, courtesy, and respect.
Customers, Employees, Business Partners, Suppliers, and Visitors shall all be recognised as deserving equal respect.
Authority shall never be exercised through fear, humiliation, discrimination, or exploitation.
The character of the Institution shall always be reflected in the way it treats people.

Every person who enters this Institution shall leave with their dignity respected and their trust honoured.

Every authority within Lazeez Hakeem® carries a corresponding responsibility.
The Institution accepts responsibility towards its Customers, Employees, Business Partners, Communities, and Future Generations.
Every decision shall be evaluated not only by its immediate benefit but also by its long-term impact upon Trust, Reputation, and Legacy.
No generation shall consume the future for the comfort of the present.

With this Book, Lazeez Hakeem® affirms its constitutional identity, purpose, vision, and enduring values.
This Foundation shall guide every future Book of this Constitution and shall remain the permanent moral and philosophical framework of the Institution.
No policy, decision, office, or generation shall depart from these principles without weakening the character of the Institution itself.
Accordingly, every Custodian, Leader, Employee, and Business Partner shall honour this Foundation in both letter and spirit, preserving it with sincerity and passing it forward with greater wisdom and greater strength.

The Principles of Custodianship, Leadership, Governance and Constitutional Authority
Introductory Declaration
The strength of an institution is not determined by the authority exercised within it, but by the principles that govern that authority.
Lazeez Hakeem® recognises that every position of leadership exists solely to protect the Institution, preserve its constitutional values, and serve the generations that shall inherit it.
Accordingly, this Book establishes the constitutional framework through which the Institution shall be governed with wisdom, integrity, accountability, and responsibility.
No office created under this Constitution exists for personal privilege. Every office exists for constitutional service.
Part I — Constitutional Governance
Article 14 — Supremacy of the Constitution
Section 1 — Constitutional Authority
This Constitution shall be the supreme governing document of Lazeez Hakeem®.
Every policy, regulation, decision, agreement, office, and governing authority shall derive its legitimacy from this Constitution.
Section 2 — Binding Effect
This Constitution shall bind every Custodian, every member of the Family Council, every governing authority, every constitutional office, every employee, every business partner, and every future generation acting under the name of Lazeez Hakeem®.
No individual shall stand above the Constitution.
Section 3 — Constitutional Interpretation
Whenever uncertainty arises in interpreting this Constitution, its provisions shall always be interpreted in a manner that strengthens:

- Institutional Identity
- Constitutional Values
- Long-Term Stability
- Future Generations
rather than temporary personal or commercial interests.
Section 4 — Constitutional Principle
The Constitution governs every person. No person governs the Constitution.
Article 15 — The Institution as an Amanat

Lazeez Hakeem® shall forever be regarded as an Amanat entrusted to every generation.
No generation shall consider itself the owner of the Institution. Every generation is merely its temporary Custodian.
Section 2 — Duty of Custodians
Every Custodian shall:
- Preserve the Institution.
- Protect its Trust.
- Strengthen its Reputation.
- Improve its Governance.
- Transfer it stronger than it was received.
Section 3 — Constitutional Responsibility
Every decision shall be made with the understanding that future generations possess an equal constitutional interest in the Institution.
Present benefit shall never destroy future opportunity.

Leadership within Lazeez Hakeem® is a constitutional responsibility and not a constitutional privilege.

Article 17 — Constitutional Decision-Making
Section 1
Every constitutional decision shall place the Institution above personal interest.
Section 2
Whenever multiple alternatives exist, the Institution shall choose the course that best protects:

- Reputation
- Long-Term Sustainability
- Constitutional Values
Section 3
No constitutional decision shall knowingly weaken the Institution for temporary financial or personal advantage.
Section 4
Major constitutional decisions shall be documented with transparency and constitutional responsibility.

Article 18 — Continuity of Governance
Section 1
The governance of Lazeez Hakeem® shall continue without interruption regardless of changes in leadership, succession, ownership structure, business expansion, or generational transition.
Section 2
The Institution shall always maintain orderly constitutional succession, documented governance, and responsible decision-making.
Section 3
No constitutional office shall become indispensable. The Institution shall always remain greater than every individual who serves it.

Article 19 — The Founder

The Founder shall be permanently recognised as the individual whose vision, determination, and sacrifice established the Institution known as Lazeez Hakeem®.
The Founder shall forever remain a part of the constitutional history and identity of the Institution.
Section 2 — Constitutional Legacy
The Institution acknowledges that its existence originates from the vision and sincere efforts of Late Hakeemuddin Sahab.
His legacy shall be honoured with dignity, gratitude, and responsibility by every generation.
Section 3 — Continuing Influence
Although the Founder no longer exercises authority, his founding principles shall continue to inspire the governance, culture, and constitutional identity of the Institution.
Constitutional Principle
Founders establish institutions. Future generations preserve them.
Article 20 — The Custodians
Section 1 — Constitutional Office
The Office of Custodian shall be the highest constitutional office within Lazeez Hakeem®.
Every Custodian serves as the guardian of the Institution and not as its owner.
Section 2 — Constitutional Duties
Every Custodian shall:
- Protect the Constitution.
- Preserve Institutional Trust.
- Safeguard the Reputation of Lazeez Hakeem®.
- Ensure responsible governance.
- Strengthen the Institution for future generations.
Section 3 — Constitutional Standard
Every Custodian shall exercise authority with:
- Wisdom
- Integrity

- Constitutional Loyalty
Section 4 — Constitutional Limitation
No Custodian shall exercise authority contrary to this Constitution.
Personal preference shall never override constitutional duty.

Article 21 — The Family Council
Section 1 — Constitutional Status
The Family Council shall be the highest family governance body of Lazeez Hakeem®.
It shall safeguard family unity, constitutional continuity, and intergenerational harmony.
Section 2 — Functions
The Family Council shall:
- Protect the Institution's long-term interests.
- Guide succession planning.
- Resolve family governance matters.
- Preserve constitutional traditions.
- Strengthen unity among future generations.
Section 3 — Constitutional Conduct
The Council shall conduct its affairs with mutual respect, confidentiality, fairness, and constitutional responsibility.
Consensus shall always be preferred over division.
Constitutional Principle
Family unity protects institutional continuity.
Article 22 — The Constitutional Advisory Council
Section 1 — Establishment
The Institution may establish a Constitutional Advisory Council consisting of respected professionals whose knowledge strengthens governance.
Section 2 — Composition
The Council may include experts in:
- Hospitality
- Finance
- Law
- Governance
- Human Resources
- Education
- Technology
- Brand Development
- Risk Management
Section 3 — Constitutional Role
The Advisory Council shall advise. It shall not govern.
Its recommendations shall strengthen constitutional decision-making while preserving the authority of the constitutional offices established under this Constitution.

Article 23 — The Executive Leadership
Section 1 — Constitutional Role
Executive Leadership shall be responsible for implementing the constitutional vision and policies of the Institution.
Section 2 — Responsibilities
Executive Leadership shall:
- Execute approved strategies.
- Maintain operational excellence.
- Protect institutional standards.
- Develop people.
- Ensure financial responsibility.
- Report truthfully to the governing authorities.
Section 3 — Constitutional Accountability

Section 2 — Protection
Every Custodian shall protect the Constitution from neglect, misuse, unauthorised alteration, or interpretation contrary to its purpose.
Section 3 — Constitutional Education
Future Custodians, constitutional office holders, and institutional leaders shall be encouraged to understand the principles, purpose, and spirit of this Constitution before assuming positions of responsibility.

Lazeez Hakeem® shall remain a permanent institution dedicated to preserving Trust, strengthening its Legacy, and serving society through responsible hospitality.

No generation shall regard itself as the final beneficiary of the Institution.
Every generation shall preserve, strengthen, and faithfully transfer this Amanat to those who follow.
Section 3 — Institutional Legacy
The ultimate measure of success shall not be the size of the Institution, but the strength of its character, the confidence of its stakeholders, and the trust it preserves across generations.

Final Declaration of Adoption
We, the Custodians of Lazeez Hakeem®, with gratitude to Almighty Allah and in honour of our Founder, Late Hakeemuddin Sahab, hereby adopt this Founding Constitution as the permanent constitutional framework of the Institution.
We affirm that this Constitution shall preserve the Identity, Purpose, Vision, Governance, Administration, and Constitutional Values of Lazeez Hakeem®.
We acknowledge that every generation inherits this Institution not as property, but as an Amanat.
Accordingly, we pledge to protect its Trust, strengthen its Legacy, administer it with integrity, and faithfully transfer it to future generations in a better condition than we received it.
May Almighty Allah grant us sincerity in our intentions, wisdom in our decisions, justice in our actions, and steadfastness in fulfilling this sacred responsibility. Aameen.
